FLIQA at the 11th Slovenian Entrepreneurship Congress
Last week, our co-founder and CEO Nina Strajnar spoke at the 11th Entrepreneurship Congress – one of the most important annual gatherings of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Slovenia. The Congress stands for core values, experiences, and knowledge that inspire innovation, growth, and boldness, brought to life through the stories of entrepreneurs who live these principles every day.
As part of the My First Million segment, Nina spoke about the key milestones on the journey from idea to FLIQA’s first successes. She highlighted the importance of trust between co-founders, the support of the first investor and partners, and the ability of teams to overcome challenges together and never give up.
“Your first investor doesn’t just fund your company; they fund your confidence. Their belief turns dreams into responsibility.” She stated
“If not now, when?” was the question at the heart of this year’s Congress. At FLIQA, we asked ourselves the same question at the very beginning of our journey, and the answer was clear. The European payments landscape is shifting, open banking standards are opening up new opportunities, and we are among the first in Slovenia and the region to actively shape them. We are not waiting for the perfect moment; we are building it.
